In the night of April 27 1663, the day after the first stone was laid, many people claimed to have seen a mysterious light shining upon the hill.The miracle of the light was seen as a sign from Mary that she approved of the plans to build her a chapel. Hence it was dedicated to Beata Virgo Lucis Montanae, the Blessed Virgin of the High Light. In German it is known as Maria Licht.Palm Sunday in the church
