May
This is the month during which Christians, in their churches and their homes, offer the Virgin Mother more fervent and loving acts of homage and veneration. And it is the month in which a greater abundance of God’s merciful gifts comes down to us from our Mother’s throne. - Encyclical Menso Maio (1965)

Protection
allaboutmary: I have chosen thee to be the protection and intercession of my life, O Virgin, Mother of God. Pilot me to thy haven, O author of blessings, O support of the faithful, O thou only all-lauded one. - Supplicatory Canon to the Most Holy Theotokos

20 + C + M + B + 12
Epiphany inscription over the doorway of the home: 20 + C + M + B + 12 The letters have two meanings. They are the initials of the traditional names of the Three Magi: Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar. They also abbreviate the Latin words Christus mansionem benedicat, which means ‘May Christ bless this house’.
